The legendary Plácido Domingo performs a tour encompassing, among others, Belgium, the Salzburg Festival in Austria, Madrid and Berlin.
A highlight will be the Verdi-Wagner gala at the Arena di Verona at its centennial festival. Conducted by Daniel Harding, alongside Domingo, the other soloists performing are Evelyn Herlitzius, Violeta Urmana, Susanna Branchini, Vitalij Kowaljow and Francesco Meli. It promises to be an atmospheric evening - the magnificent Arena di Verona is a Roman amphitheatre in Piazza Bra and one of the best preserved ancient structures of its kind.
