This Baroque fantasy returns to the Met after its well-received world premiere in 2011 to 2012. The starry cast is led by Susan Graham as Sycorax with Placido Domingo as Neptune. The opera brings together the music of Handel, Purcell, Vivaldi and others, and is set to a new English libretto that was inspired by Shakespeare’s The Tempest and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.(FraM Martins).
