Marrakech has been an epicentre of artistic activity for centuries. The Biennale, founded in 2004, celebrates this creative heritage, and aims to build bridges between cultures with exhibitions, conferences and interactive events. The fifth edition’s theme is ’where are we now?’, and it explores four disciplines: visual arts, cinema and video, literature and performing arts. There will also be fringe projects throughout the city.
