Art Basel
Bringing more than 300 leading galleries from across the globe to Basel in Switzerland, Art Basel has now become so big that it has also now spawned fairs in Miami Beach and Hong Kong. Galleries from North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa are all represented, showing work from established and emerging contemporary artists. All artistic media are represented: painting, sculpture, installation, video, print, photography, performance and multi-media. Symposiums, films and artist talks accompany the fair.

Toulouse-Lautrec
One of the largest collections of posters and prints by Toulouse-Lautrec is displayed at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, including nearly 100 works by the French artist. Among them is L’Anglais au Moulin Rouge, 1892, a lithographic proof of Jane Avril au Jardin de Paris and the rare print A Merry Christmas. Alongside these iconic works, a handful of other artists of the Belle Epoque are also represented.
